Convert a Word Doc to Google Drive

  1. Navigate to Google Drive
  2. Locate the Word, PowerPoint, or Excel File in Google Drive you uploaded into Drive
  3. Right Click on the file
  4. Select Open With > Google Docs (or appropriate Google app based on file type)
  5. Document opens as a Google Doc, with editing and sharing rights

*The original document still exists in Drive, with a second copy in Google Docs format*
